What do we insist on?
- We insist that all Directors not only have read the company constitution but have had active participation in any modifications, updates and improvements.
- Insist on complete & continuous disclosure from all company officeholders.
- Insist that all relevant competencies are updated for all company officeholders.
- Insist that all Directors actively promote high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.
- Insist that Directors will provide employees & contractors with a clear set of rules, values and guidelines to follow when carrying out their work as core point employees or representatives.

The Board and Management of Core Point along with our professional staff are committed to promoting and developing ‘best practice’ standards and codes for our industry outlined by the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA). The RCSA Code of Conduct contains the standards that govern our daily conduct and practices.

Our professional conduct is on display. The RCSA Disciplinary & Dispute Resolution Procedures have been developed to assist in resolving complaints or grievances. If you have a complaint we will deal promptly with that complaint. If we cannot resolve the complaint to your satisfaction within a reasonable period of time, you or we may refer the complaint to the Chief Executive Officer of the RSCA.

Our Directors
Executive Director - Jeanna Brooker MAICD, MACS (PCP), P2P, Dip. Bus.Comp
Jeanna Brooker is an experienced project manager & general manager with over 25 years experience in both public and private sector ICT and project management, primarily in Energy, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Professional Services & Commonwealth Government.
Jeanna has comprehensive experience in all areas of project management and ICT general management, including operations & change management, contracts management, project & program management, backoffice systems technical support, strategic planning, human capital & resource management and recruitment of project, contract & permanent staff. After recruiting, building and developing successful project & ICT Support teams for 15 years, Jeanna joined Data#3 and along with another colleague established the ‘new’ recruitment business unit. This group grew from a team of three to eleven in just two years with an extremely successful new revenue stream for the business. The system & many of the processes implemented by Jeanna are still in use 10 years later.
After leaving Data#3 Jeanna again worked with or managed Project and/or ICT Support teams, working for such companies as Data#3, BP, Amcor, Duke Energy, PwC and Energy Developments until establishing and building her own recruitment agency specialising in sourcing of project management professionals.
Jeanna is a talented leader who understands what it takes to establish and grow innovative and profitable businesses. At the core of her skills and experience for the past 28 years has been the ability to engage with and get the best out of human capital. This balance places her in an ideal position to direct the business development and resource areas of the business.
Jeanna is on the Board of 4 Australian private companies, and has recently been invited to become both Company Secretary and non-executive director of an innovative Australian public company. Her board responsibilities include setting up of corporate governance and board reporting processes, investor relations and establishing and directing program office activities. Jeanna is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jeanna’s experience is supported by training and accreditation in project & program management, company governance and directorship and ICT.
Executive Director - Darren James – MAICD, MSP, P2P, B.IT (Hons 1st)
Darren James has been in business since 1997, either in a managing role or as a director. He has provided services for a variety of organisations from Software Development, Research Institutions, consulting agencies to large private and government agencies. He has been a providing consultancy services for several firms including Boeing, The Department of Main Roads and The University of Queensland. Darren has a Degree in Information Technology with honours (1st), GPA of 7.0.
In addition to his business experience, Darren possesses a wide variety of technical skills & experience. They include business requirements elicitation & analysis, communications, database design, development, graphic design, interface design, project management, system analysis & design and system architecture. He has also lectured students at the Undergraduate and Masters Levels at University in Project Management - his area of specialty.
Darren has played major roles in almost all projects he has been involved in. His skills combined with an interest in taking on challenging projects have brought much success on several different projects. In his various roles he has
- Project Managed projects of various sizes as well as provided Program & Project Management coaching
- Provided Business & Systems Analysis for new and existing systems
- Business Process Engineering to support organisation maturity and strategic and technical architecture alignment
- Designed Systems and Architected Solutions
- Developed Communications Strategies and Media
Non-executive member – Intentionally vacant
This position on the Board is intentionally left vacant so that the Board can strategically appoint another Director as the Company grows and requires advice and direction in the areas of legal, marketing and international relations.
